Jake's Country Sausage is a family-owned, woman-owned, fourth-generation business founded over 50 years ago by Fred "Jake" Jones. What began in the back room of 150 Quick Stop has grown into a USDA-inspected processing facility in Botland, KY, where Jake's Sausage is handmade using the original recipe and a proprietary spice blend. Acquired by the Thompson family in 2008, Jake's Fresh Country Sausage LLC sells to retailers, grocers, chefs, restaurants, and distributors across central Kentucky and beyond.
