Clam Daddy's is a family owned and operated aquaculture farm in Brigantine, New Jersey, that has been raising and selling hard shell clams (Mercenaria mercenaria) since 1984. It operates a hatchery and nursery, serves local restaurants and seafood stores year-round, and sells at the Brigantine Farmer's Market on Saturdays during the summer. The business traces back to 'Clam Daddy' Bill Mayer Sr., who began as a wild clammer in 1968 and helped start one of the first clam hatcheries in New Jersey.
