Choice is developing a hormone-free, reversible contraceptive valve implant placed in each fallopian tube in an outpatient procedure through the vagina and cervix. Closed, it is designed to keep sperm and egg apart; opened, it is designed to let fertility return. It is an investigational device, not approved or available in any market, designed and built in Eindhoven on the former Philips site under an ISO 13485 certified quality system.
