U-Pick

Aspen Grove Farm is a small family berry farm in Montana's Bitterroot Valley, founded in 2018 by Melissa A. Allred. The farm grows four honeyberry (haskap) varieties plus strawberries, raspberries, and currants, hand-picks them at peak ripeness, and cooks them in small batches in the farm kitchen into jams, syrups, and sauces. It also offers seasonal U-Pick and a farm stand at 400 Quast Lane in Corvallis, Montana.

Blueberry Meadows is a small, certified organic, family owned and operated blueberry farm located 3 miles north of downtown Corvallis, Oregon, on Highway 20. The farm was established in the 1950s by Edward and Ruth Vaughan and has 10 varieties of blueberries. Lynn and Kevin bought the farm in 1993 and are the second owners; Erica now manages farm operations. The farm offers u-pick, pre-picked, and frozen berries and sells all its berries locally.

Calhoun Produce, Inc. was founded in 1982 by Gerald and Joyce Calhoun and evolved from a row crop farm into a diversified agricultural business, now run by their son Brad Calhoun and daughter Sheila Rice. The farm is a seasonal agritourism destination offering strawberry picking, wagon rides, pig races, a honey bee house, farm animals, a corn maze, birthday parties, and field trips. Its main crop is fresh-shelled butterbeans and peas, grown, shelled, and packed on the farm.

Carini Farms is a fourth generation, family owned farm dedicating over two hundred acres to blueberry production, with a tradition starting in the early 1940's. The farm grows, harvests and packages fruit directly from the fields in on-farm facilities, and has recently added a southern blackberry variety. Located about two miles from Lake Michigan in West Olive, Michigan, its acid-sandy soils support highbush berries.

Cockeyed Farms is a veteran owned, family farm in Franklinton, Louisiana, run by Lauren and Brandon Breaux. They grow beyond organic American elderberry (Sambucus canadensis), blueberries and honey, and produce cold-pressed American Elderberry juice, juice with honey, and creamed honey products. They also offer U-Pick seasonal berry picking activities.

Dizzy Lizzie's Farm is a NOFA-NY Certified Organic family farm providing fresh seasonal produce, garden plants, flowers, and U-Pick blueberries. It also produces maple syrup and value-added products including home-grown and homemade spices and spice blends, candied hot peppers, jams, relishes, and pestos. The farm began in 2012 and opened to the public in 2013, achieving organic certification in 2014.

Ferne Valley Farm is a small, veteran- and family-owned flower farm located near Blair, Nebraska, southwest of Blair at the crossing of two gravel roads. The family purchased the acreage in 2022 and arrived in early 2023 after long military careers. The farm provides high quality, long lasting, locally grown blooms to nearby communities including the Omaha metro.

Hentze Family Farm is a 42-acre century family farm in Junction City, Oregon, established in 1902 by Johan and Irene Hentze. The farm operates a farmstand selling NW seasonal produce and a Cook Shack offering comfort food, and specializes in pitting cherries, cutting corn, snipping and cutting green beans, pressing apples for cider, and cracking walnuts and hazelnuts.
