Calhoun Produce, Inc. was founded in 1982 by Gerald and Joyce Calhoun and evolved from a row crop farm into a diversified agricultural business, now run by their son Brad Calhoun and daughter Sheila Rice. The farm is a seasonal agritourism destination offering strawberry picking, wagon rides, pig races, a honey bee house, farm animals, a corn maze, birthday parties, and field trips. Its main crop is fresh-shelled butterbeans and peas, grown, shelled, and packed on the farm.
