ETran is developing a patented elevated transportation architecture combining lightweight passenger vehicles, infrastructure-based electric propulsion, distributed support, and modular construction. Propulsion, braking, guidance, power, and control functions are distributed along the corridor in stanchions rather than onboard the vehicle.
