Blue Mountain Meats was founded in 1954 by Harold and Erline Frost and is currently owned and operated by their sons Scott and Allen Frost. The company has two divisions: a federally inspected meat packing plant that produces and processes beef, pork, lamb, and mutton, and a separate warehouse that purchases, sells, and distributes foodservice products. It became a broad line distributor in 1995, selling meats, dairy, frozen, and dry/canned foods to foodservice and retail customers in the Four Corners area.
