Hawaiʻi Banana Source is a 35-acre USDA-certified organic banana farm on the North Shore of Oʻahu in Waialua, operated by four farmers: Chad, Connor, Rob, and Gabe Sachter-Smith. The farm maintains around 150 banana varieties, focusing on commercial fruit production of Apple, Namwah, Gros Michel, Saba and Iholena, and breeds its own specialty varieties via conventional cross-pollination. It offers farm tours and tastings, sells rare and heirloom bananas, and dries or freeze-dries surplus fruit in small batches for shipping.
