Applied Concepts (ACI) was founded in 1998 to design and manufacture DC to AC inverters used to power Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFLs), commonly used as backlights in LCD TVs and monitors. ACI's inverters support Medical, Industrial, Military, Aviation, Marine, and Commercial applications. Around 2007, ACI began developing its I-Drives Series of DC to DC constant current drivers and expanded into customized LED Rails and High-Bright Modifications for LCDs from 6.5" through 24".
