A. Duie Pyle opened a 44-door less-than-truckload service center in the Cincinnati area, adding direct freight service in southwest Ohio, FreightWaves reported. The West Chester, Pennsylvania-based carrier announced the facility on Tuesday, according to the report. The Cincinnati site is expected to start with 21 jobs and reach approximately 36 by the end of 2026, the company said.
The Cincinnati opening came after A. Duie Pyle announced on Oct. 6 a 78,760-square-foot warehouse in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, FreightWaves reported. That warehouse is next to the carrier’s existing LTL service center, the report states, creating a campus that combines freight transportation and inventory storage. FreightWaves reported that the Camp Hill location offers access to Interstates 81, 76 and 83 and U.S. Route 15.
“Growing our network is about being where our customers need us and creating stronger connections between the markets they serve,” Frank Granieri, chief commercial officer at A. Duie Pyle, said in a news release. For sourcing professionals, the Cincinnati center potentially reduces intermediate transfers and improves service consistency by moving southwest Ohio freight directly into Pyle’s network, according to FreightWaves.
