Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. is a national metal stampings and drawn wire company located in Owensboro, western Kentucky. Originally started in 1960 as Kentucky Electronics to manufacture precision grid wire for receiving tubes, metal stampings was added several years later. In 1983 Robert Hudson and W.C. Cundiff purchased the Owensboro plant and renamed it Ken-tron. The company provides metal stampings, wire forms, and drawn wire in 60+ materials for aerospace, medical, battery, electronics, automotive, and music wire applications worldwide.
