Japan Nuclear Fuel Limited (JNFL) operates nuclear fuel cycle facilities at Rokkasho-mura in Aomori Prefecture, including a Uranium Enrichment Plant, Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Center, Vitrified Waste Storage Center, and Spent Fuel Receiving & Storage Facility, and is advancing test operation of its Reprocessing Plant and construction of its MOX Fuel Fabrication Plant. Its mission is to establish a nuclear fuel cycle and produce new energy for the future.
