Intelligent Light has been at the forefront of CFD, visualization, high performance computing and data science for decades. Founded in 1984, the company developed animation and rendering software, then shifted to engineering visualization. It created FieldView for CFD visualization and post-processing, and commercialized the VisIt code. In October 2019 it spun off FieldView to Tecplot, Inc. and now focuses on HPC products, developing IntelliTwin and Kombyne engineering solutions.
