Housing Opportunity Development Corporation (HODC) is a community-based nonprofit developer of affordable housing founded in 1983. Its mission is to develop, manage and preserve housing that is affordable to low- and moderate-income households in northern Illinois. HODC is a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) and a HUD approved housing counseling agency, and has completed 35 affordable housing projects with 686 units and manages 764 affordable apartments and homes.
