HEPA is a democratic, locally owned group of board-certified and board-eligible emergency physicians serving communities across the Hawaiian Islands. Over the last 50 years, HEPA has grown from providing services at one hospital to providing board certified emergency physician coverage at twelve hospitals across four islands, staffing both high and low-volume facilities. Together with MidPacific Hospitalists, its democratic subsidiary, HEPA provides hospitalist services at seven of its sites.
