GT Molecular develops molecular detection technologies for cancer research and pathogen detection. The company designs ultra-sensitive digital PCR, qPCR, and next-generation sequencing assays, illicit drug detection tests, and end-to-end solutions for cancer genotyping and waterborne pathogen detection, including SARS-CoV-2 wastewater monitoring. It was awarded the CDC's NWSS Multi-Pathogen Assay Development Contract and was recognized by MIT Technology Review as the first lab to identify the SARS-CoV-2 UK variant signature in US sewersheds.
