GreenGate3D is an American manufacturer that recycles PETG scrap plastics into 3D printing filament. It is the outgrowth of Universal Composites, a plastics recycling company started by Phil Silberfeld in July 1994, which began 3D printing in October 2018. GreenGate3D states it uses only scrap plastics and extrudes those materials only in the United States.
