Gil-Mar Manufacturing is headquartered in Metro Detroit and has been a supplier to the automotive and defense industries since 1982, when it was founded in Farmington Hills, Michigan by Gil and Joe Ruicci to manufacture military components. It designs, develops and manufactures safety-critical components, and states it has become the nation's largest supplier of steel tank track components, including track components for tanks such as the M1 Abrams.
