Freymar regenerates harvest by-products and waste from the aquaculture industry to produce enriched fish feed. Harvest waste is formulated into microbial media placed into a bioreactor, which is inoculated with microbes that produce large quantities of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) essential for healthy fish growth in aquaculture. The technology regenerates aquaculture harvest waste that would otherwise go to a landfill, making the industry sustainable.
