Fort Garry Fire Trucks, established in 1919 and family-owned, is described as Canada's largest and oldest manufacturer of firefighting apparatus. Headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, it designs and builds custom fire trucks, pumpers, rescues, aerial ladders, tankers and related firefighting equipment, and operates a full-service rubber manufacturing division. It was the first North American emergency vehicle manufacturer to implement ISO standards, achieving ISO 9001 certification in 1994 and upgrading to ISO 9001:2015 in 2018.
