First State Bank of Paint Rock is an independent community bank in Paint Rock, Texas, founded by area ranchers and businessmen and opened in April 1910 as the Guaranty State Bank of Paint Rock. It renamed to First State Bank of Paint Rock in February 1925 and opened a San Angelo branch in May 1997. It remains independent and FDIC-insured, with total assets exceeding $135 million.
