Filmtec is a manufacturer of wire handling and spooling equipment and other machinery, founded in 1964 in Fostoria, Ohio, as a magnet wire processing company. It began manufacturing wire spooling equipment in 1968 and was acquired by Fort Wayne Metals in 2016. The company custom designs and builds machinery, having built or upgraded more than 3,000 pieces of machinery worldwide.
