Excelsior Elevator Corporation was founded by Victor and Lina Rough in 1996 as an elevator service and construction company. Its first major project was installing 10 new hydraulic elevators at UCLA Deneve Plaza. The company has since moved to a larger facility in Santa Ana, California, and expanded into a full-fledged elevator service, modernization, repair, and construction company. It is an MBE/WBE/DBE certified company, and its technicians are members of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local #18.
