Excavating Materials & Equipment, Inc. (EME) is a construction materials supplier founded in 1977 by Fred Vahlsing, with over 40 years of experience serving NJ, PA, NY and the tri-state area. EME operates two sand and gravel mines in central New Jersey and a Plumsted, NJ facility permitted to accept soils and dredge soils for disposal and reuse. It supplies sand, stone, gravel, topsoil, DOT products, engineered soils, and recycled concrete, and offers excavation, trucking, dredging, and recycling services.
