Ethris, based in Planegg near Munich, was founded by Dr. Carsten Rudolph and Prof. Dr. Christian Plank to establish messenger RNA (mRNA) as a new drug modality. Ethris pioneers next-generation mRNA therapeutics and vaccines using its proprietary SNIM®RNA and SNaP LNP® platforms, with a thermostable, multi-route LNP delivery system. Its primary focus is first-in-class mRNA-based therapeutics to prevent virus-induced exacerbations in asthma and COPD, with lead candidate ETH47.
