Endobios Biotech is an EU-based startup advancing a potential first-in-class small molecule anticonvulsant, currently in the early preclinical stages of drug development. Its lead candidate ENB-002 is a new chemical scaffold (molecular weight <300 g/mol) based on unpublished fungal-derived compounds, with in vivo anticonvulsant activity in a mouse model, preliminary blood-brain barrier permeability data, and secondary capacity against neuropathic pain.
