EcoCatalytic is an early stage start-up developing sustainable technologies for upgrading petrochemical feedstocks, natural gas and plastic waste to valuable chemical products using Chemical Looping Catalysis. Founded as Bio2Electric, LLC in 2009 by Dr. John Sofranko, it took the EcoCatalytic Technologies name in 2014 and formed EcoCatalytic Inc. in 2018 to license and commercialize technologies; in 2022 it acquired all assets of Bio2Electric, LLC.
