Durst Organic Growers is a mid-sized, organic farm in Yolo County, California, producing fresh-market organic produce. The Durst family has farmed in the Yolo County area since the late 1800s; Jim and Deborah Durst planted their first organic crop in 1988 and their first organic fresh-market tomatoes and mixed melons in 1989. In 2000 they discontinued processing tomatoes to focus on fresh-market heirloom and cherry tomatoes, asparagus, melons, and squash.
