Dudley Gates engineers and fabricates custom gates around customer access requirements, developing dimensions, materials, geometry and hardware in collaboration with the project team. Founded in 1999, the company developed its double-acting swing gate with a built-in, above-floor closer to address accessible passage in rail transit. Gates installed at BART stations in 2000 remain installed today.
