Drums Alive is an evidence-based drumming fitness, health, and wellness program that combines cognition, drumming, movement, music, and rhythm for a 'Whole Brain & Whole Body' workout promoting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive health at all life stages. Founded by Carrie Ekins, the program was inspired by her recovery from a hip injury. Drums Alive works with research teams at universities including Chemnitz, Texas State, and Oxford Brookes.
