Diving Equipment & Supply Company (DESCO) was formed in 1937 as a manufacturer of diving equipment designed by Max Nohl and Jack Browne. It produces commercial and U.S. Navy diving equipment, including surface-supplied free-flow diving helmets such as the Air Hat, U.S. Navy Mark V and Helium helmets, and classic breast-plated helmets. DESCO also offers helmet repair, modification, customization, and factory maintenance training.
