Defendec was established in 2007 to create IoT based products, releasing its first border surveillance sensor in 2009. The company develops autonomous intrusion detection systems for remote areas, combining rugged camouflaged devices, ultra-low power design and AI. Its system is used for securing NATO's and European Union's external borders. Defendec has in-house software and hardware design and production, and operates globally with offices in the UK, US and Estonia.
