The Jefferson, Washington, DC is a luxury boutique hotel located at the northwest corner of 16th and M Streets NW, three blocks north of the White House. The building started life as a luxury apartment block in 1923, designed by architect Jules Henri de Sibour in the Beaux-Arts style, and by 1955 had transformed into a hotel. After a two-year top-to-bottom renovation, it reopened in 2009. The hotel offers rooms and suites, dining at The Greenhouse and Quill, meetings and event spaces, weddings, wellness facilities, and dog-friendly accommodations.
