CytoRecovery develops label-free cell sorting and recovery technology. Its CytoR1 Platform sorts, enriches, and recovers live cell populations on a label-free device, separating phenotypically similar cell types gently while maintaining high viability. The company was born from a breakthrough at Virginia Tech by inventor Dr. Rafael Davalos, joined by co-founder Leo Harris, and brings to market microfluidic technology to sort rare, viable cell subpopulations from blood, tissue, and other biological samples.
