CurrentEng provides consulting services to the nuclear industry aimed at cable testing to support second license renewal and to evaluate aging of materials for life extension. Its principal engineer, William (Bill) Berger, has 45 years of experience in the nuclear industry as an electrical engineer. The company recently completed a research project analyzing aged cables using spread spectrum time domain reflectometry (SSTDR) and evaluated motor control center components for extended life at elevated temperature and radiation.
