CrabLine Robotics was born out of Dr. Kathryn Daltorio's mechanical engineering lab at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In early 2023 she joined forces with serial entrepreneur and business lead Carla Macklin, and PhD candidates John Grezmak and Jiyuan Jiang, to develop crab-like robotics for industrial purposes. With the support of the National Science Foundation, CrabLine Robotics was formed. The company develops specialized, dexterous underwater robotics for industry and military applications.
