Coventry Associates develops the Eccentric Positioning System (EPS), a three-axis ultra high precision robotic grinding system. Founded as a consulting business in 2002, the company conceived the EPS with co-inventors in 2006 and developed a prototype with funding from the Defense Logistics Agency, Mass Ventures and SGA at the Fraunhofer Center for Manufacturing Innovation at Boston University. The fully electric system eliminates hydraulics and reduces setup and cycle time.
