COSM is advancing technology for in-space manufacturing and assembly of metal parts, building on a relationship with NASA and supporting America's Artemis program. COSM is building a new electron beam wire 3D printing system designed to provide a full suite of in-situ metrology functions for real-time validation that each part is made to specification. The company was formed in October 2011 to address engineering and R&D needs for process systems in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry.
