Okada Design is the practice of Corinne Okada Takara, a Honolulu-based artist and STEAM educator who creates technology-integrated art projects. Her public collaborative work explores modern-day artifacts to preserve cultural heritage and memory, and she designs workshops for museums, libraries, K-12 classrooms and colleges. Her art ranges from textile mixed media wall hangings to fungus-grown chandeliers to 3D printed sculptures, blending handcrafted and digitally created components.
