Construction Materials Testing (CMT) was founded in 2001 by Doug Clement and is a geotechnical engineering and testing laboratory based in Des Moines, Iowa. CMT specializes in geotechnical design, Portland cement concrete (PCC), Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), aggregates, and smoothness (profilometer) testing, and provides NDT testing such as visual steel inspections and forensic investigations. The lab maintains AASHTO and U.S. Army Corps accreditations.
