ConFab is a full-service waste container and recycling equipment manufacturer and a leader in the West Coast waste manufacturing market. Founded by Al Melideo, who began manufacturing galvanized residential trash cans and steel products in 1959, Consolidated Fabricators Corporation (ConFab) was formed in 1974. ConFab operates five fabricating plants and controls steel, fabrication and paint processes under a single company. In 2020, Wastequip added ConFab to its portfolio of brands.
