Concept2, Inc. is located in Morrisville, Vermont, and was started in 1976 by brothers Peter and Dick Dreissigacker in a Vermont barn with the vision of creating innovative, quality rowing products for training and racing. The company makes world-leading oars and indoor exercise machines, and in January 2025 the Concept2 Perpetual Purpose Trust was established to take on perpetual ownership of the company.
