Communication Disorders Technology, Inc. (CDT) was formed in 1989 by Charles S. Watson, Diane Kewley-Port, and Daniel P. Maki, professors at Indiana University. CDT develops computer-based speech training products and conducts research on computer-based training for speech and hearing disorders, employing research scientists and technicians in cognitive science, computer science, engineering, experimental psychology, instructional systems design, linguistics, mathematics, and speech and hearing sciences.
