CMI, Inc. is a manufacturer of breath alcohol testing instruments in the U.S., Canada and around the world. It manufactures the Intoxilyzer® brand of evidential and preliminary breath alcohol testing instruments using infrared spectrometry (IR) and fuel cell technology. CMI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MPD, Inc. of Owensboro, Kentucky, and is an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company. It also provides training for law enforcement and breath alcohol technicians.
