CLR Medical develops the CLR Irrigator, a patented ergonomic suction/irrigator enabling one-handed lavage through indwelling catheters such as chest tubes and pigtail catheters, and the CLR Port, which stays attached to the catheter for sterile repeated lavage. The team, motivated by a U.S. Department of Defense call for a solution to retained hemothorax, designed the device with trauma surgeons to facilitate thoracic irrigation.
