CleanFiber Inc. manufactures cellulose insulation made from recycled corrugated cardboard. Its proprietary wet separation and infusion process removes contaminants and infuses an all-borate liquid fire retardant directly into the fiber walls, producing insulation with low dust and low contamination. The company operates a production facility in Buffalo, New York, and launched commercial production of certified CleanFiber insulation in 2020. It was formerly known as Ultracell Insulation.
