Cirrus Aircraft designs and manufactures personal aviation aircraft, including the SR Series (SR20, SR22, SR22T) piston aircraft and the Vision Jet, the world's first single-engine Personal Jet. Founded by Dale and Alan Klapmeier, who began work in 1984 on the VK-30 kit airplane, the company includes the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) as standard equipment on all its aircraft and offers flight training through Cirrus Approach.
