Creating Ability began in 2004 with a project to make paddling accessible to all, producing the Universal Paddling Seat. Since then it has developed and provided fully outfitted kayaks and adaptations enabling people of all abilities to participate in adaptive kayaking. The company travels tens of thousands of miles annually, volunteering at events and venues in support of persons with disabilities and their families, providing on-site support, education, and outfitting.
