Chelonia Limited designs and manufactures advanced passive acoustic monitoring instruments, including F-PODs, C-PODs and BatBugs, for research, conservation and environmental studies. Formally established in 2006, its mission is to sustainably make fit-for-purpose echo-location monitoring instruments and support conservation using them. Its PODs detect porpoises, dolphins and other toothed whales by recognising echo-location click trains.
