Carecubes develops the Carecube, an FDA 510(k)-cleared isolation unit that converts a standard hospital bed into an isolation bed in as few as 10 minutes. The Carecube exceeds the CDC standard for Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms and is intended to eliminate infectious disease transmission in healthcare settings. It was initially funded by DARPA and supported by the CDC and ASPR, developed in partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
